The question of whether musical works have a meaning or not is an often-found question in the history of philosophy to recognize the possibilities and boundaries of music. In the past, music that positioned itself on the axis of a certain center has gained a different dimension in today's conditions, especially with the development of recording technologies. There are two things that we will consider as music. One of these two things is the objective work (musical score), the other is the performance (energia). When we say meaning in music, we may hermeneutically mean four things. The first of these is the meaning in the mind of the musician who wants to perform the note. The second is the emotion experienced by the musician when the work is performed; the third is the emotion experienced by listeners during the same performance. The fourth and lastly, meaning in music is the spiritual meaning of the work of art.
