Change and continuity processes interact with each other and they are encountered in every aspect of life. As far as the global policies are concerned, the behaviors of international actors take place in an environment of change and continuity. In systemic rupture periods, states and other actors are forced to undergo changes in their persistent preferences. In spite of rapid changes in global politics, the security complexes, power interactions, clashes, reconciliatios, and alliances of states endure. Te transformation that took place in the Middle East afer the end of World War I enforced a new restructuring in the region. New alliances and partnerships established in the region set the stage for changes as well as continuity among the region’s new actors. Tis new stability of the region had to withstand the changes in the afermath of the World War II, Cold War, September 11 Atacks, and the Arab Spring. Te Arap Spring has created new ruptures and mobilities in the alliances and partnerships of the Middle East.
